CryptoQueenz NFT Collection by Boy George

The Culture Club icon, musician, and artist Boy George, is one of the latest most talked-about individuals to join the NFT craze. The creative personalia has recently announced hes going crypto with the outstanding collection of NFTs to drop in March.Boy Georges hyping CryptoQueenz project created in partnership with Pixel Potent will be a tribute to 7 new songs to see the world soon.In his interview to the Rolling Stone edition, Boy George announced: “As a creator and artist Ive long been interested in the different mediums which can act as a canvas for self-expression. NFTs and digital art are great examples of this and help to democratise the stuffy artworld for everyone. I hope this project will help to bring a little colour and joy into everyones lives whilst helping to support the LGBTQ+ community which Im very proud to be a part of.The CryptoQueenz collection will drop on March 1st in the amount of 9,999 unique NFTs to be sold on the specially created website. After the collection is sold out, the CryptoQueenz will be available for purchase on the secondary market via the OpenSea marketplace.According to Boy George himself, each token will feature the recognizable face of ‘Scarman. This character is one of Boy Georges most celebrated artworks (sold for a tremendous $375,000). Moreover, the non-fungible tokens will be dropping alongside Boy George’s renowned hat collection.The collection of PFPs has already been announced as the official LGBTQ+ NFT. Part of the proceeds from the CryprtoQueenz sale will be donated to charity, namely to Elton John Aids Foundation and Shelter to support the LGBTQ+ community. The royalties from secondary sales will also be transferred to charitable funds in the long run.
